What are the Summer Programs?

The College Reach Out Program offers two summer programs for actively participating students. Both programs are held on the Florida Gulf Coast University Campus to sustain motivation and momentum for College Reach Out Program participants. 

The Summer Institute is a five day program for eligible middle school students.  Students receive instruction in science, math, reading and writing.  Program participants have the opportunity to choose from afternoon electives such as American Sign Language, Dance, Step, Drawing, and Photography.

The Summer Residential is a six day program for eligible high school students.  Program participants reside on campus and engage in essay writing, career development, personal goal setting, and college placement testing in addition to SAT math preparation.
