College Central Network - for online job postings

Click here [.doc] for instructions on posting a job (part/full time) or internship on College Central. The site is free for recruiters to use, and reaches both our students and alumni. The system allows you to track your own positngs as well as allowing you to search and contact students/alumni who have posted their resumes.

By registering in our network, you will have the opportunity to receive event information regarding our job/career fairs, Business Days (through our College of Business), Employer Bootcamps, etc. We will not SPAM you, only provide you with recruiting opportunities. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Career Center at careercenter@fgcu.edu.
 
On Campus Recruiting Tables -

Recruiters are welcome to have a table set up in our Student Union to promote your employment/internship opportunities. Reservations must be received by the Wednesday of the week prior to the desired recruitment date. Reservations are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, 10am – 2pm and are available on a first come first serve basis. Arrangements for a recruitment table can be made by calling 239-590-7946 or emailing our careercenter@fgcu.edu. Reservations can not be made during Career event dates or Orientation.
 
Flyers -
You can fax (239-590-7975) or email a job description flyer to the Career Center at any time. We will be post it in our office, as well as on 6 boards around campus. We ask that you make sure your company information is on the flyer, along with the complete contact information of the recruiter. Flyers are posted every Friday.

FGCareers4U Newspaper -
The FGCareers4U Newspaper is a highly effective way for recruiters to advertise to FGCU Students and Alumni! The newspaper is distributed at the start of each semester providing an opportunity for various types of employment opportunities to be highlighted, including: seasonal, part time, full time, and internships.

We have the advantage of a unique partnership with area college housing units to place a paper in each living space. We also have the ability to distribute papers at: Orientation (both Freshman/Transfer), Alumni Events, Career Events & Expos, all student advising areas, and more!

Our FULL COLOR, newspaper is printed on top quality paper, producing an eye-catching professional look that draws the attention of all. If you would like to participate in this opportunity or if you would like to request a sample newspaper, please contact the Career Center at (239)590-7946.


Class Presentations -
While speaking opportunities are limited, we do receive requests from professors periodically throughout the year. If you are interested in presenting to a class regarding professional development, please e-mail us your: name, company, phone number, as well as the topic(s) you are prepared to discuss. No guarantees will be made that you will have a speaking opportunity, but you will be placed in our database as an interested employer.
