For students seeking Work Study jobs on campus: All Work Study jobs for 2011-2012 have been filled. Students that have been awarded Work Study eligibility may still pursue campus job postings, but the jobs will not be considered “Work Study.” If you have questions about your financial aid package, please contact Financial Aid at 590-7920.

"More to Etiquette Than a Knife and Fork" with Nonnie Owens

Join FGCU Alumni as guest speaker "Mom" Nonnie Owens presents a workshop on proper business protocol for networking events. Heavy refreshments will be served. Space is limited~ Student attendees must RSVP to Career Development Services. Registration will open January 2012.
Full Time Career & Internship Fair
Wednesday, April 4th 2012 l 11:00am- 3:00pm l Cohen Center Ballroom (Old SU Ballroom)
The Career and Internship Fair will include employers seeking students, recent graduates, and alumni for full-time career postions or professional internships. Recruiters from multiple industries will attend including: Business, Education, Healthcare, and Government Agencies. Students are not required to register for this event, but are encouraged to prepare for the event by creating a resume and dressing professionally (click here for women). A list of recruiters will be posted in March 2012.

Etiquette Dinner

Back for a seventh year, the Etiquette Dinner remains one of the most popular Career Services events. FGCU students and Alumni network with employers over a free four- course meal while learning proper table etiquette. From appetizers to dessert, guests learn the proper way to eat in front of potential employers and business partners. Space is limited~ Student attendees must RSVP to Career Development Services. Registration will open February 2012.

Recession Free Wednesdays
Recession Free Wednesdays are employer meet- and- greets for students. Each week a different employer will come to the Career Development Services Center (on-campus) to meet students and share job opportunities within their organization. This is a great opportunity for students to network with and meet employers seeking to hire them!
Recession Free Wednesday- Wednesdays in Spring 2012 l 11:00am- 2:00pm l SU 162 (Career Services Training Room)
Students can drop-in and out. Refreshments will be served. While this event is informal in nature, we strongly suggest that students dress business casual in order to make a good impression on the employer representatives. (Gentlemen - khaki-type pants, collared Polo-type shirt or button-down shirt; ladies – nice slacks or skirt, conservative top, closed-toe shoes.)
