Academic Internship:
The academic internship rewards academic credit for your experience. To receive credit for an internship, you must meet with your College's academic advisor. Your advisor will give you the qualifications you must meet during your experience; some require at least 10 hrs/week for 12-15 weeks. For specific requirements contact your College directly.
Non-Academic Internship:
Non-academic internships are not for academic credit, but are a good way to gain experience before graduation. The internship is set by both the student and employer, and requires no permissions or paperwork. Parties involved should have a clear understanding of all expectations and needs.
