Thank you for thinking of FGCU students for opportunities in your organization. Over the years, we have found that the employers that have enjoyed the most success in reaching our students are the ones that consistently use all aspects of our services: they participate in events regularly and keep their postings in our web-based job and internship listing system (Eagle Career Link) current.  While there is no silver bullet recruiting strategy, a consistent, diversified approach yields better results. We welcome your new ideas for connection as well. Below are the various ways to engage with students and alumni:

Recruitment Wednesdays
Date: Most Wednesdays during the Fall & Spring semesters
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Location: Cohen Center Atrium
 
This mini-event is best for employers that are looking to recruit students from any major.  This is a high-traffic location - send your most outgoing employees, brand your table, and interact with students who pass by on their lunch break! This event is free for employers. It is limited to one table per-semester for each employer. Availability is limited. Employer Express
Date: Thursday, March 23rd
Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Location: Lutgert College of Business Atrium

Regional Job Fair
Date: Wednesday, May 3rd
Time: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. / 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Location: Alico Arena

Statewide Job Fair
Date: Tuesday, May 9th
Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: CFE Arena - UCF Orlando
 
The Statewide Job Fair is coordinated by The Florida Career Centers, and hosted at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. The Statewide Job Fair provides employers the privilege to recruit graduates and alumni from Florida's ten state universities at one event.  Space is limited. Job & Internship Fair
Date: October 4, 2017
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Cohen Center Ballroom
 
This event is for employers looking to recruit FGCU students or alumni for part-time jobs, careers, or internship opportunities. This event is open to all majors.  Registration for this event will open in August 2017 through Eagle Career Link. Registration will include 1 table, 2 chairs, 2 representatives and morning coffee service. Registration is limited and will be first come, first served.  
 
 
U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering Career & Internship Expo 
Date: November 8, 2017
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Location: Holmes Hall
 
This event is for employers interested in offering full-time employment and/or internship positions for the following majors: Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Software Engineering.  Registration for this event will open in Fall 2017 through Eagle Career Link. Registration is limited and will be first come, first served.  
 
 
Career & Internship Fair
Date: February 14, 2018
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Cohen Center Ballroom
 
This event is for employers looking to recruit soon-to-be graduates and alumni into full-time careers or internship opportunities. This event is open to all majors. Registration for this event will open in Fall 2017 through Eagle Career Link. Registration is limited and will be first come, first served.
