James S. Saganowich is a third year FGCU graduate student completing a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health counseling and will be working as a graduate assistant in the FGCU Counseling and Psychological Services Center. James studied for two years at the United States Military Academy at West Point and graduated with a degree in Russian Language from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania and has used his communication skills most recently in the Financial Services industry as a Financial Advisor, up until three years ago when he embarked on a career in the mental health field. James began working with children at the David Lawrence Center three years ago on the Bridges unit for emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children in Naples. For the past two years James has been working on a treatment team dealing with adults suffering with substance abuse issues, on the residential Crossroads unit at the David Lawrence Center and is a strong client advocate working towards the betterment of client lives. |
