ABOUT US

Dr. Gibbons, a licensed psychologist, holds an MSW (Social Work, Tulane, 1989) and a PhD (Counseling Psychology, Arizona State University, 1999).  She joined the staff at CAPS in 2002 and splits her time between developing Prevention & Wellness Services and providing counseling services.  She works with all types of student concerns, and has specialty in working with clients with eating disorders, sexuality concerns (including sexual trauma, relationships, and gay and lesbian issues), and anxiety and stress management.  She enjoys clinical supervision and training new therapists.
