Vision Statement:

The Interfraternity Council will be the model leadership development organization at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Mission Statement:

The Florida Gulf Coast University Interfraternity Council exists to create an atmosphere that encourages positive development and advancement of its member organizations. We will serve to promote the progression of the fraternity community through healthy growth, leadership development, and accurate representation of recognized fraternities to all stakeholders of the University.

Values Statement:

The Florida Gulf Coast University Interfraternity Council prides itself on exhibiting and promoting the values of scholarship, leadership, service, social development, and moral character that constitute the premier fraternity man.

Fellow Eagles,

On behalf of the Interaternity Council (IFC), I would like to thank you for your expressed interest in Fraternity & Sorority Life at Florida Gulf Coast University. FGCU has a very unique Greek Program in the sense that it is a very young and continually growing system. Since the IFC’s inception just two years ago, the executive board has successfully implemented a successful governing council that has established a strong and effective presence within the Greek community. This year we plan to continue and build upon that success.

Please browse through our website to gather information about each of our six member organizations. The collegiate experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity that should be met with personal growth, both intellectually and socially. No other student organizations can provide you with the level of experiences and opportunities that you will be afforded as a fraternity man at FGCU. All five IFC organizations promote and instill qualities in their members that will stay with you for a lifetime. The Greek experience is truly a lifelong commitment that begins here.
