Services Available
Services Provided Free of Charge:
- Routine medical care and preventive medicine
- Physical examinations: Requirements for General Admission to FGCU
- Health screenings
- Family planning consultations (including emergency contraception)
- Health education
- Referrals for specialist care: psychological services
- EKG
- Pulmonary Function Testing
- Nutritional assessment and counseling by a registered dietician
- HIV testing using ORASURE (no blood testing needed)
Services Available for a Nominal Fee:
- Laboratory tests: chemistries, blood count, mono test, cholesterol, urinalysis, pregnancy tests, minor surgical procedures, and others
- Pap smears, testing for sexually transmitted infections
- Immunization: measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis A, B, flu (season), tetanus, meningitis, varicella, Gardasil and TB screening.
- Confidential HIV testing
