Eagle View Orientation

 
 

Registration for Eagle View Orientation

Reserve your Eagle View Orientation date as soon as the dates for your session of enrollment are posted on our website! Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, and many of our sessions close well in advance of the program date.  In addition, we recommend that students choose the earliest date available in order to have maximum flexibility in course scheduling.

How to Reserve an Eagle View Orientation Session - Reservations can ONLY be made online:

  1. Go to http://www.fgcu.edu/ 
  2. Click “Gulfline” (located at the top of the page in the green toolbar).
  3. Click “Login to Gulfline”
  4. Login using your UIN (University Identification Number) and PIN. You will receive an email with a temporary PIN and information on accessing Gulfine.  If you do not receive this email, contact the Office of the Registrar at 239-590-7980.
  5. Click “Student and Financial Aid”
  6. Click “Eagle View Orientation”
  7. Click “Register for Orientation”
  8. Reserve an orientation date and receive an immediate confirmation and parking pass on Gulfline.  A credit or debit card payment is required in order to submit your reservation on-line.  ORIENTATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, regardless of attendance at the program or enrollment at the university!
  9. When you register for your program, be sure to register any parents, family members, or other guests who will be attending orientation with you.  There is a separate fee of $35.00 per parent/guest.     
  10. Approximately one (1) week before your scheduled orientation date, you will receive an e-mail reminder with all of the information you will need to get the most out of the program.  This e-mail will be delivered to the e-mail address you provided on your admissions application.

How to Change an Eagle View Orientation Session - Changing your orientation date will NOT require you to pay an additional fee:

  1. Go to http://www.fgcu.edu/ 
  2. Click “Gulfline” (located at the top of the page in the green toolbar).
  3. Click “Login to Gulfline”
  4. Login using your UIN (University Identification Number) and PIN. You will receive an email with a temporary PIN and information on accessing Gulfline.  If you do not receive this email, contact the Office of the Registrar at 239-590-7980.
  5. Click “Student and Financial Aid”
  6. Click “Eagle View Orientation”
  7. Click “View/Change/Cancel Orientation Date”
  8. Towards the bottom of the page select “Change My Orientation Date” (green link)
  9. Select a new session that you can attend.
  10. Print your new parking pass and pre-orientation confirmation instructions.

How to Confirm an Eagle View Orientation Session **

  1. Go to http://www.fgcu.edu/
  2. Click “Gulfline” (located at the top of the page in the green toolbar).
  3. Click “Login to Gulfline”
  4. Login using your UIN (University Identification Number) and PIN. You will receive an email with a temporary PIN and information on accessing Gulfline.  If you do not receive this email, contact the Office of the Registrar at 239-590-7980.
  5. Click “Student and Financial Aid”
  6. Click “Eagle View Orientation”
  7. Click “View/Change/Cancel Orientation Date”
  8. This will take you to your orientation confirmation displaying the date for which you are confirmed.

** Confirmations are not sent through e-mail.  The student must login into Gulfline in order to get the confirmation and parking pass.

How to Cancel an Eagle View Orientation Session - If you register for another orientation date after canceling a reservation, you WILL be required to pay the entire fee a second time! Remember: ALL ORIENTATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! 

  1. Go to http://www.fgcu.edu/
  2. Click “Gulfline” (located at the top of the page in the green toolbar)
  3. Click “Login to Gulfline”
  4. Login using your UIN (University Identification Number) and PIN.  You will receive an email with a temporary PIN and information on accessing Gulfline.  If you do not receive this email, contact the Office of the Registrar at 239-590-7980.
  5. Click “Student and Financial Aid”
  6. Click “Eagle View Orientation”
  7. Click “View/Change/Cancel Orientation Date”
  8. Towards the bottom of the page select “Cancel My Orientation Date” (red link)
  9. The student will be prompted to click the cancel link a second time to confirm cancellation
  10. The student will then be directed to a confirmed cancellation screen

 

How to Register a Guest for Orientation - If you need to register additional guests for orientation after completing the reservation process, please follow these steps.  Remember: ALL ORIENTATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! 

  1. Go to our secure Marketplace Store by clicking HERE.
  2. Enter the number of guests you wish to register in the box to the right 
  3. Click “Enter Student Information" 
  4. Enter the student's first name, last name, and University Identification Number (UIN). (The student's UIN will usually begin with 815). 
  5. Select your orientation date from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click “Continue" 
  7. Check the "Items in your Cart" to make sure all information is correct.
  8. If all information is correct, click "Checkout" 
  9. Enter the email address you would like your confirmation of payment to go to. If you could also like to receive a text message notification, enter your phone number and mobile carrier. 
  10. Click "Continue" 
  11. Please enter your credit card payment information
  12. Click "Continue" 
  13. Click "Submit Order" once you have verified all payment information is correct
  14. Your order will be confirmed.
