Tasha
Tasha Taylor is a junior majoring in Communications, with minors in Creative Writing and Interdisciplinary Studies. Her goal is to become a motivational speaker and perhaps work with a not-for-profit organization that works with underprivileged students and young adults. Once Tasha finishes her Bachelors, she plans on pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration here at FGCU. Tasha was born in Georgia, and raised in Naples, Florida. Tasha is a member of the Resident Housing Association, Student Support Services, Black Student Alliance and the Brain Bowl Club. Volunteering for the Resident Housing Association FARH Conference, New Student Convocation, Eagle Expo, Eagle Family Weekend and many multicultural events has made Tasha’s time at FGCU very exciting. Outside of school Tasha volunteers her time to the Shelter for Abused Women and Children of Collier County. She is also affiliated with Big Brother Big Sister’s of Collier County. Tasha has worked as an Orientation Leader, Eagle View Student Assistant and is currently an Orientation Team Leader.
