Kathleen

My name is Kathleen Equite, and I am a third year undergraduate student who has been attending Florida Gulf Coast University since fall 2005. My major is Communications, and I have a minor in Spanish. What exactly I would like to do in these two fields, I am not quite sure, however, I expect that with the many wonderful opportunities FGCU offers—both career-wise and building your persona—I will find my calling.

I am a very open-minded person who likes to observe and analyze information before speaking out about it. I am somewhat of an introverted person, but my friends can tell you I am quite the energetic one! My college experience thus far has been an amazing three years of memories. Some of my time has been shared with the FGCU Spanish Club, FGCU Dancing Divas, Student Union Advisory Board and its sub-committee Operations & Administration, Campus Reservations and Alico Arena with Auxiliary Services, and many other exciting interactions done through course activities.

Just as I am enjoying my time here at FGCU, I know others will do the same. Become involved. Get active. Study hard, but have fun. Get connected. Most of all, be open-minded and take advantage of all the many activities and events that FGCU offers to enhance your educational and learning experience. Make this time your time, and make it last.
