Lilibet

My name is Lilibet Diaz and I am a current student here at FGCU. I entered FGCU in the fall of 2007 and it has been a great experience for me. Currently I am entering my sophomore year majoring in Biology. After graduating with my bachelor's degree I plan on going to medical school to become a pediatrician. I was born and raised in Cuba. I feel very lucky to be a bilingual student because I feel that is a great way to bring diversity into FGCU. Both of my parents have taught me to work hard for what I want and that is exactly what I set my mind to do every day. Most of my friends describe me as independent, outgoing, determined and a person with a bright future!

FGCU for me has been a very fun experience. There are so many opportunities that FGCU offers! That's why I try to seize each and every one of them every day! This is why I recommend all incoming freshman to remember to "motivate" yourself everyday on becoming the best you can be.
