Robby

Robert Janer is heading into his second year at FGCU. His major is accounting and he plans to one day own his own Accounting firm. Robby was born in Nassau County, New York and grew up in the town of Roslyn. He then moved to Boca Raton, Florida to finish his last two years of high school. Robby’s brother started attending FGCU when his family moved to Florida, so Robby would come and visit all the time. FGCU seemed like the place for him because of the small class sizes and the absolutely stunning campus. One of the things that Robby has been involved with at FGCU is Hillel of South West Florida. He became the treasurer for the club to help fund, and create events. Robby also became a floor delegate for Resident Housing Association. He did this because he was good friends with everyone on the floor and wanted to represent them. Robby has been on committees for foam parties, Eagle Idol, and Family Weekend Brunch committee. The way Robby has made lots of friends is through just joining clubs and putting his self out there. So the more you’re involved, the more fun and friends you will have.
