I am Carl Bleich and I first enrolled at FGCU in the fall 2005 semester as a dual enrollment student. Once experiencing the campus, I decided that I would not be able to find a place better than FGCU to receive my education. I am currently a junior majoring in Communications. I really enjoy being involved in the Campus Recreation program on campus. I like to participate in many of the activities they put on including flag football, basketball and many other sports. I also enjoy participating in the Quiz Bowl academic competition FGCU puts on once a semester and working for The Pinnacle, the campus alumni magazine.

I could not have asked for a better experience at FGCU. The people I have met and the things I have experienced truly have made the last three years of my life amazing. I feel like FGCU is going to prepare me to accomplish my ultimate goal one day: working as a sports writer for an online-based news source such as Yahoo! Sports. Incoming students, I challenge you to not let your college years pass you by without finding your niche on campus. This is a great place with something for everybody. You just have to do a little digging to find it!
