Cassandra

Hello, my name is Cassandra Diaz and I am entering my senior year at Florida Gulf Coast University. I am majoring in Public Relations and my minors are in Spanish and Inter-Disciplinary Studies.

I am originally from Queens, New York and am half Dominican and German. My friends would say that I am animated, genuine and a go-getter. I plan to graduate in 2009 and go to graduate school for Educational Leadership in Higher Education with the vision of serving in FGCU's Student Affairs department.

I believe that education surpasses the classroom and that extracurricular activities reinforce and put our skills to practice.  I am an active participant and mentor through Student Support Services, Vice President for the International Club and work for the International Services Office. I have also served as the Director for Public Relations with Student Government and sat on various committees, like the search for the Vice-President for Student Affairs.  This is an opportune time for you to get involved and make a lasting impact on this campus! Be active in your university experience!
