Dan

I am Dan Polulak and I am a Freshman student from Sarasota, Florida. I entered FGCU in the fall of 2007 and so far my freshman year has been an awesome experience. I am entering my second year and majoring in Resort and Hospitality Management. I am a very loud and exciting person, and I love to socialize and meet new people. I enjoy staying busy wherever I am, and my main interest is traveling. I 've been working for Carnival Cruise Lines for the past two years onboard 5 of their ships as a Club O2 Director- so I know how to have a good time. Like I mentioned before, I thrive on involvement so I actively participate in activities and clubs at FGCU such as BEEP (Board of Eagle Entertainment Planners), Student Government, and am also part of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.

I would not trade my freshman year here at FGCU for anything. So far I feel like I am headed in the right direction and I can already see the doors opening for my future. I am excited for what lies ahead in the future for me at FGCU and in my career. My long time dream is to become a mystery travel shopper for major airlines and hotel chains. My advice for any incoming freshman is to take advantage of all the clubs and organizations that FGCU has to offer. College is way different than high school and the best way to meet people is by getting involved in what you are passionate about!
