Erik

Hi! My name is Erik Wilkinson. I am 21 years old, and going into my senior year here at FGCU. I came to FGCU from Watervliet Michigan in the fall of 2005. I came to FGCU to challenge myself and expand my horizons above and beyond what Michigan could offer me. Choosing to come to FGCU was one of the best and most exciting decisions I have ever made. FGCU has opened so many doors for me and I know it can do the same for you.

Since coming to FGCU I have tried to be as active as possible in the school. This has included clubs like Newman club, College Republicans, and intramural sports. I have a job with the campus physical plant, where I deliver packages to all the different departments on campus. I am also a proud member of Greek life here at FGCU. I am a political science major. After I graduate I either want to go into government administration, or pursue a master's degree in public administration.

To all the new students getting ready to join the FGCU community I want to say get ready and get excited. Don't be afraid to try new things and step outside the box. College is a once in a lifetime experience, and one that you should take full advantage of.
