Monica

Monica Botero is currently finishing her third year at FGCU. She is majoring in Criminal Forensic Studies and plans work as a crime lab technician. Born and raised in Florida, Monica plans to take her career up north, to pursue a profession as a medical examiner. FGCU has taken a big part in helping Monica decide and clarify her career goals and ambitions. When she is not at school or at her part-time job, Monica enjoys the typical life of a college student by spending time at the university’s waterfront, going any university sport games, and the local mall. Monica has kept herself involved in school activities by joining the Judicial Council of North Lake Village, FGCU’s apartment style housing. There she learned how to manage different situations and hopes that the experiences and knowledge gained from her experiences with the organization can help her become the best Orientation Leader she can be.
