What exactly is recruitment?

Recruitment is the process by which the organizations open their doors to recruit interested women. 

The formal recruitment period starts shortly after school begins in the fall and lasts for five days.  For four exciting days, women, just like you, will have the opportunity to take a closer look at sorority life at the university.

Recruitment is a time to meet sorority members, discuss Greek life, and start new friendships.  Through informal conversations, skits, and songs, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about each group. At the end of the recruitment period, invitations, called bids, are handed out for young ladies to join. Recruitment is a period where you can have your questions about sorority life answered and decide if Greek life is right for you.

Recruitment Dates:

September 9th - Mandatory Orientation 9:00 pm - Student Union Ballroom - dress is casual, your picture will be taken tonight if you did not upload your photo on the application.

September 10th- Event #1 - Ice Water Party-8:00 pm-Student Union - Dress is nice casual (no shorts, tennis shoes, or hats, jeans are acceptable).

September 11th- Event #2 - Philanthropy Night-8:00 pm - Student Union - Dress is nice casual (no shorts, tennis shorts, or hats, jeans are acceptable).

September 12th- Event #3 INVITE ONLY - Skits and Sisterhood Night - 5:30 pm - Student Union - Dress is business casual (dress, skirt, nice blouse, slacks).

September 13th- Event #4 INVITE ONLY - Preference Night- 3:30 pm - Student Union - Dress should be semi-formal (only skirts and dresses).

September 14th-BID DAY! INVITE ONLY - 11:30 am-Student Union, dress is casual.
