The Reverse Career and Service Fair is a new initiative and collaboration by Career Development Services, Office of Service Learning and Civic Engagement and the Student Involvement Office. The program is designed for student organizations to showcase their organization and the value the members receive by being involved in it to employers and community partners. Student organizations are judged on their professional presentation to the employers and community partners who rate them on a set of criteria.
February 1, 2011, was the first ever Reverse Career and Service Fair at FGCU. The 21 RSO involved were:
Gay Straight Alliance, Music Maniacs, Model United Nations, FGCU Peace Corps, Student Abolitionist Movement, Eagle News, FGCU Rotaract, Florida Public Relations Association, Project Art Therapy for Children's Health, Anthropology Club, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Dominican Republic Outreach Program, FGCU Project Potcake, Relay for Life, Latin American Student Organization, Student Government's Civic Engagement, Forensic Pathology Club, Multicultural Interest Group, Chi Omega, Circle of Friends Club, Cirlce K International.
The groups competed for prizes and cash while networking with professional organizations and community agencies.
