The General Knowledge Test (GK) is one of
the tests required to meet teacher certification requirements. The GK
test includes four (4) subtests: Essay; Reading; English Language Skills;
and Math. It is very similar to the CLAST test but has been designed
just for teachers. It can be taken either as a paper-and-pencil test
or as a computer-based test. .

site for the paper and computer-based FTCE.
