Students should seek tutoring as early in the semester as possible in order to receive consistent assistance. Tutoring enhances material presented in the classroom and does not replace course work or regular class attendance. 

The underlying objective of tutoring is to assist students in becoming independent and confident learners. We pledge to develop and expand the skills and resources that fortify a student's self-confidence and success in the academic environment. Our Tutors are: Undergraduate and Graduate students (many are volunteers earning their 80 service learning hours required for graduation): these Student Tutors receive extensive training. Our tutors work closely with the departments and instructors and often sit in on classes in order to be familiar with the methods used by the instructor.
