How to Start a Scholars Club Chapter


  1. Send written notification of intention to Public Schools Enrichment Partnership at FGCU.
  2. Identify and select a Faculty Sponsor.
  3. Identify qualified students from the class rolls.
  4. Develop a written invitation, to all qualified students. The letter of invitation should state the objectives and include an application form.
  5. Contact students prior to application deadline and provide assistance, if necessary, with completing the application.
  6. Establish meeting date(s) and time and solicit nominations for officers.
  7. Hold elections for officers and install them.
  8. Complete and submit student member data before Induction date.
  9. Review and ratify by-laws.
