What are the Summer Programs?

The Scholars Program offers two summer programs for actively participating students. Both programs are held on the Florida Gulf Coast University Campus to sustain motivation and momentum for Scholars students. 

The Summer Institute is a five day program for eligible middle school students.  Students receive instruction in science, math, reading and writing.  This program is designed to enhance academic, social, and leadership experiences in a summer camp setting on a university campus..

The Summer Residential is a six day program for eligible high school students.  Program participants reside on campus and engage in essay writing, career development, personal goal setting, and college placement testing in addition to SAT math preparation.
