The Mission of Student Support Services:

Provide opportunities for academic development; assist students with basic college requirements; and to motivate students toward the successful completion of their post secondary education.

 

Who is Eligible?

  • First Generation  (neither parent/guardian earned a Bachelor’s  Degree) and/or
  • Low income according to federal guidelines and/or
  • Have a documented disability in need of support services

The Student Support Services Grant Programs at Florida Gulf Coast University are funded 100% through the United States Department of Education. The funding for the 2012-2013 academic year to  Student Support Services - Classic Program is $247,584 and  the Student Support Services STEM Program is $213,280.
